The Researcher role will put you at the forefront of Private Equity Funds Executive Search process laying the critical groundwork of planning the search and setting the strategy for ECB STAR Group’s Private Equity Practice. Using your knowledge of the client mandate, industry expertise and previous experience, you will be required to identify target companies that are likely to have qualified candidates. The role will also require you to act as an ambassador to the ECB STAR Group Partners when speaking with candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Identifying and sourcing candidates through researching internal databases, LinkedIn, and other sources as appropriate.
- Extensive market mapping and research to source the top candidates in the Private Equity / Funds or Investment Banking (Front office) market.
- Support the team on mandate execution along with managing and executing on junior hire mandates independently with management oversight.
- Work across all revenue generating and support function roles within PE Funds.
- Create talent pools of candidates for future projects.
- Experience in search/recruitment within Private Equity, Funds or Investment Banking (front office) is essential.
- Comfortable and confident on the phone.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational abilities.
- A strong character that is not offended by rejection and repetition.
