Responsibilities:
- Support the COO in developing and executing global business strategies, commercial priorities, and annual operating plans, with a strong focus on revenue growth, market expansion, customer development, and business performance.
- Act as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the COO, providing structured analysis, market insights, and recommendations to support key commercial and business decisions; analyse weekly, monthly, and quarterly business and sales performance, identifying key trends, business risks, growth opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.
- Support the COO in reviewing regional and business unit performance and developing action plans to improve sales effectiveness and commercial results; assist the COO in preparing business reviews, executive presentations, strategic plans, and management reports for senior leadership and the Board, as required.
- Support the COO in coordinating global sales and business development activities across regions including Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas and other strategic markets; facilitate alignment between global sales teams, regional business leaders, product and technology teams, and corporate functions to ensure effective execution of commercial priorities; support the COO in evaluating new markets, business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential growth areas.
- Serve as a key liaison between the COO, China headquarters, global sales organizations, and international business units, facilitating effective communication and alignment on global commercial priorities; support the COO in translating global business strategies and priorities into actionable plans across international markets.
- Establish effective operating mechanisms for the COO Office, including leadership meeting cadence, business reviews, reporting mechanisms, action tracking, and information flow; track key strategic initiatives, projects, decisions, and action items led by the COO, ensuring clear ownership, timely execution, and effective follow-up.
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders across Sales, Business Development, Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and other relevant functions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business strategy, sales operations, business development, commercial operations, management consulting, or as a Chief of Staff / business partner supporting a COO, CEO, or senior executive. Management consulting experience is considered a strong plus.
- Experience in global technology, automotive technology, mobility, SaaS, or other international B2B business environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality executive and customer-facing materials.
- Experience in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to improve business performance, sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, or decision-making is highly preferred.
- Highly proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, and ambiguous environment.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, both spoken and written, with the ability to use both languages as working languages.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline. MBA or advanced degree from a reputable university is a plus.
