As part of this continued growth, we are now seeking a Client Manager to join our eCapital Commercial Finance UK head office in Reading, transforming the way small and medium-sized businesses access the funding they need to grow, adapt, and succeed.

Location: Reading, UK

Hybrid Working: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Industry: Invoice Finance / Financial Services

The Role

As Client Manager, you’ll proactively manage client relationships across a mixed portfolio of funding lines, ensuring exceptional service delivery while effectively managing risk and supporting long-term client success. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to:

  • Manage facilities from onboarding through to ongoing relationship management
  • Mentor and support Credit Controllers within the team
  • Monitor risk events, client covenants, and financial reporting
  • Conduct portfolio and sales ledger reviews
  • Support new business take-ons and client onboarding
  • Drive excellent customer outcomes and service standards
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow client relationships

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from candidates with:

  • Experience within Invoice Finance or Financial Services
  • Previous Credit Control experience
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and risk management capability
  • Experience mentoring or managing Credit Controllers (preferred)
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills
