We are a supplier of tools and fixings to the construction industry with branches in Leicester, Stoke, Newark and our Head Office in Coventry.

We are currently looking for someone to work as a reach forklift driver / Warehouse assistant in a busy warehouse at our Coventry Depot, who is able to work with little supervision, someone able to work hard and display initiative and accuracy.

The successful candidate must have reasonable computer skills, work well as part of a team, excellent counting ability with accuracy, able to lift and carry boxes and also have an excellent attendance record, and most importantly trustworthy.

All necessary training will be given and necessary equipment/uniform will be provided.

Hours will be Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, salary to be advised.

Job requirements.

Must hold a valid counterbalance forklift license

Computer literate and able to use basic computer systems,

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is essential.

Good communication skills

Good numeracy and literacy skills with a good attention to detail.

Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable.

Good time keeping.

Ability to work as a team but also be able to work just as affective on your own.

Duties will include.

Operating a reach forklift in a safe manner.

Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles.

sort and place stock onto racks, shelves and locations.

Assist with stock control duties, shipping and receiving.

picking and packing.

Booking in delivery\'s using computer system (full training will be given)

general warehouse duties, ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.

Adhere to health and safety procedures.

Manual handling of heavy objects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.20-£12.50 per hour
