We are looking for a highly skilled and self-sufficient Freelance Photographer to support our fast-paced e-commerce studio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, as well as part of a team, and who has a strong technical background in studio photography and post-production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-quality product photography across a range of categories (e.g. fashion, accessories, lifestyle products)
  • Work independently to manage full shoot workflow: setup, lighting, capture, and styling where required.
  • Ensure consistency in lighting, composition, and brand guidelines across all imagery
  • Tethered shooting using Capture One and Canon, maintaining efficient file organisation and workflow
  • Perform post-production tasks including pixel retouching and image optimisation in Photoshop
  • Deliver assets to agreed specifications and deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience in e-commerce or product photography (portfolio required)
  • Advanced knowledge of Capture One (tethered shooting, colour workflows, session management)
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (retouching, colour grading, batch processing)
  • Must be used to working in a Mac based environment.
  • Ability to work solo and take full ownership of studio shoots
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency
  • Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Local to Essex or the surrounding area
  • Experience working in high-volume studio environments
  • Basic styling experience e.g. flat lay/mannequin work
  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and commercial photography standards
