Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution phases of infrastructure projects, including civil works, utilities, and related systems.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage and coordinate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare regular project reports, progress updates, and presentations for management and clients.
- Participate in risk assessment and management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Support the tendering and procurement processes, including evaluation of bids and contractor selection.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role, preferably within the infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Approved CRE status or working towards obtaining.
