Our client, based near Duxford, is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their family business. This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday. This is a very busy environment and candidates will need to be confident working on their own initiative in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates must also be comfortable with manual handling as heavy lifting will be involved. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for picking and packing products ready for dispatch and for other miscellaneous tasks at the discretion of the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities will include: * Picking, packing, and labelling of customer sales orders. * Warehouse stock replenishment. * Participating in stocktakes and rolling stock checks. * Assisting with goods-in; loading and unloading deliveries. * General housekeeping. Candidates will need to have: * Personal PPE - specifically safety footwear. * Transport – Due to the rural location, candidates will need to have their own transport to get to work. * A current fork-lift license would be desirable but is not essential
