Senior Buyer

Our client based near Duxford is looking for a Senior Buyer with ideally a strong record in purchasing products within the market in Asia. We also need someone with solid experience running an ERP/MRP system. This role will be instrumental in managing the firms purchasing processes, supplier relationships, and ensuring stock availability across a wide range of products. A critical part of the role is managing and developing the Sage/Sicon MRP system drive supply chain efficiency, accurate forecasting, and stock control. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to join a growing business and make a real impact. Its a busy hands on role and will also hold line management duties. Its a role which holds key responsibility as it will lead and manage the company\’s purchasing activities across the business. To be suitable you will need: * Experience in a senior buyer or purchasing manager role * Extensive experience running and managing an MRP system – Sage/Sicon MRP would be ideal * Proven background international purchasing, including sourcing from Asia * Ideally experience within hardware, manufacturing or construction products Due to the location of this role you will need your own means of transport.
