Our client, based in Cambridge, is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join their team. This is a varied role, and the ideal candidate will be able to deliver a variety of cooking styles – from high-volume cafeteria-style service to fine dining for staff, visitors, and stakeholders; covering events such as weddings and conferences. This is a full time (40hrs per week), permanent role and candidates would need to be happy to work flexibly, with split shifts, evenings, and alternate weekend shifts.
Candidates would need to have the following skills and experience:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery (minimum)
- Knowledge of food law and allergen information
- A passion for food and cookery
- Excellent communication skills
