Looking for more autonomy, variety and balance in your surveying career?
This independent firm of Chartered Surveyors has been quietly leading the way across the London–Stansted–Cambridge corridor for years. They’ve built a reputation for honest advice, strong local knowledge, and long-term client relationships — without the layers of red tape you might find elsewhere.
They’re now looking for a Commercial Property & Asset Manager to take the reins on a diverse, mixed-use portfolio and become a key part of their growing, forward-thinking team.
Why this role?
Because you’ll actually get to do the job — not just tick boxes.
You’ll manage your own instructions with real autonomy, work across sectors from industrial to office to leisure, and be trusted to build lasting client relationships. You’ll also have the chance to broaden into asset management, supported by a leadership team who genuinely value initiative and growth.
This is a firm where you’ll be heard, supported, and encouraged to shape your career — not just follow someone else’s path.
What you’ll be doing day to day
- Managing a varied commercial property portfolio.
- Acting as first point of contact for clients, occupiers and contractors.
- Preparing and managing service charge budgets.
- Carrying out inspections and resolving issues before they become problems.
- Preparing clear, insightful client reports.
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting business development.
- Spotting opportunities to add value across the portfolio.
What you’ll bring
- MRICS qualified (or working towards).
- Solid experience in commercial property management.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- Confidence using property management systems and reporting tools.
- A full UK driving licence.
The offer
You’ll join a respected, modern practice with newly refurbished offices and great transport links. The culture blends traditional client service with a fresh, collaborative mindset — and there’s genuine room to grow.
If you’re ready to take on more responsibility, work with autonomy and be part of a business that truly values its people, this could be your next move.
