I am working with a growing consultancy looking to appoint a Civil Engineer into their Central London team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with consultancy experience who wants broader project exposure, closer mentorship, and the chance to develop quickly within a smaller, highly collaborative environment. The Civil Engineering team is intentionally lean, giving you direct exposure to senior engineers and decision-makers rather than being buried in layers of management. You will gain involvement across the full project lifecycle, take on real responsibility early, and continue developing both technically and professionally. The role would suit someone with experience in drainage and infrastructure design who is looking to strengthen their technical capability while progressing within a supportive consultancy environment.
The Role
You will support the delivery of civil engineering projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction stages across a varied development portfolio. Responsibilities will include:
- Producing drainage, highways, and infrastructure designs
- Undertaking hydraulic modelling and drainage analysis
- Developing Civil 3D models and coordinated technical drawings
- Preparing technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation
- Assisting with planning and technical approval submissions
- Liaising with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
