A leading construction consultancy is launching a new Building Consultancy division and is seeking a Director to lead it. This is a rare chance to establish and grow a business function within an established, successful practice. Some building surveying work is already present, providing a base to build from. Additionally, the firm has established long term framework agreements with a number of corporate clients including supermarkets, hospitality venues, retailers and gym chains, with a plan to formally offer Building Surveying services to these existing clients. This will generate hundreds of thousands in fees and will provide the initial phase of growth. Beyond that, the incoming leader will be expected to set the direction, further grow the client base, and ultimately lead a high-quality Building Surveying service line.

About You

  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS)
  • Senior experience (Director or Partner level)

  • Leadership and people management experience
  • Commercially minded and entrepreneurial
