Job Description
Chartered Building Surveyor – Maidstone
Join a small, close-knit consultancy of eight, based in Maidstone and active across Kent and London. This role is pitched at Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level and comes with a defined route through to Associate and ultimately Director. Forget the layers of sign-off and corporate obstacles—you’ll have the freedom to get things done, with your impact visible from day one.
The Work

Lead on dilapidations strategies and negotiations (pre-, mid-, post-lease)

Manage party wall matters and all stakeholder communication

Diagnose defects, specify remedies, and run contract admin through to completion

Deliver core surveying services: inspections, condition surveys, due diligence, RCAs, reports

Coordinate projects, aligning budgets, timelines, and quality with client goals

Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to how the team grows
You

MRICS with solid consultancy experience
-
Confident across both project and professional instructions
-
Commercially astute with excellent client-facing skills

Organised and able to juggle multiple workstreams

Full UK driving licence
-
Experience with industrial projects or large/complex residential schemes would be valuable
