A respected Building and Project Management consultancy is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to take a key leadership role within their Building Consultancy team. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced surveyor to lead and grow an already established service line, with clear progression into equity ownership and business leadership. You are likely to be at Associate level now. The team is currently managed by the MD, with strong foundations and a healthy workload. You will initially help deliver existing instructions while taking on responsibility for team leadership, client relationships, and business development. Over the medium term, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding the team and shaping the future direction of the consultancy's building surveying services.

The Role
- Lead the delivery of building surveying services, managing client relationships and overseeing project delivery
- Undertake professional instructions including condition surveys, dilapidations, defect reports, and planned maintenance programmes
- Manage contract administration and refurbishment schemes
- Collaborate closely with the MD to drive strategic growth
- Mentor junior staff and help build the future team structure
- Contribute to P&L oversight and take part in leadership meetings
- Develop new workstreams and identify opportunities to expand the client base
Requirements
- MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor
- Strong consultancy background with experience in both professional and project services
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage client accounts
- Confident with business development and commercial management
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and contributing to strategic decisions

Package & Benefits
