A respected, medium-sized firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, based in the heart of Mayfair, is looking to appoint a Senior or Associate-level Building Surveyor to join their long-established Building Consultancy team. This is a high-impact role offering responsibility across a broad client portfolio and a varied workload. The firm has an excellent client list comprising institutional investors, asset managers, private property companies, and high-net-worth individuals.
The successful candidate will undertake a blend of traditional Building Surveying duties, with an emphasis on refurbishment-led project work, as well as a full spectrum of professional services. This opportunity is ideal for a Chartered Building Surveyor seeking to step into a more senior, client-facing role with a clear route to further progression within a high-calibre consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and manage refurbishment and fit-out schemes across commercial and residential portfolios
- Provide core Building Surveying services including dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, and reinstatement cost assessments
- Maintain and develop long-term relationships with retained clients
- Work autonomously while contributing to wider team growth and best practice
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their APC development
- MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor
- Minimum 5 years of Building Consultancy experience
- Strong technical knowledge across both project and professional work
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple instructions independently
- Basic Salary: £70,000 – £95,000 (depending on experience)
