Our client, a trusted, long-term supplier to the nuclear industry, specialising in safe, cost effective and reliable uranium enrichment services, are looking for a Senior EC&I Engineer on a contract basis (inside IR35), to be based in Capenhurst near Chester.
Rate: £50-65 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
A senior C&I engineer is required due to increasing project commitments.
The job involves the design, testing and commissioning of modern, PLC and SCADA based control systems, along with appropriate restoration and replacement of obsolete hardwired logic systems, always taking into account safety functionality required for a Nuclear Licenced Site., * Deliver Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) services, including technical feasibility and Best Available Technology (BAT) studies, for a variety of challenging projects.

Oversight of the Conceptual and Basic Design of new builds or facility modifications, providing direction and oversight to third-party engineering service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Developing design standards to meet world-class safety and regulatory requirements.

Inform plant design specifications, asset management strategies, CapEx planning, and safety protocols.

Salary: £50-£65ph Inside IR35 (Umbrella take home £1266pw-£1623pw + any over time worked)
Hours: 38.75 hours per week (8/8.30am starts)

Site Based/Office/Remote: Site – 3/2 split – Site/WFH – but this is to be discussed at interview stage depending on workload.
