Role Purpose

To execute EC Charging’s UK sales plan by building and managing installer and wholesaler sales channels, converting repeat revenue, and growing the current customer base. This is a player-manager role focused on delivery, not strategy decks.

Key Objectives

  • Deliver KPI Sales Targets
  • Build and activate UK installer partners
  • Establish active wholesaler/reseller partnerships
  • Create repeat monthly installer-led sales

Installer Network Growth (Primary Focus)

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage installers via LinkedIn, Facebook groups, and industry referrals
  • Implement the EC Charging Approved Installer process (training, certification, pricing)
  • Drive repeat orders from installers through margin clarity, fast support, and incentives; act as first commercial escalation point for installer questions and objections.

Direct Sales – Public & Commercial

  • Own direct engagement with:
    • CPOs deploying on-street AC + DC Chargers
    • Destination charging sites (hospitality, car parks, fleets)
  • Manage framework applications, pilots, and early deployments
  • Convert pilots into case studies and reference accounts

Wholesalers & Resellers

  • Secure initial regional wholesaler listings before national chains
  • Deliver branch visits, counter staff training, and wholesaler promotions
  • Build a roadmap toward national distribution in 2027

Sales Enablement & Execution

  • Work with marketing to ensure:
    • Installer pitch decks
    • UK case studies
    • Grant-readiness materials (ORCS / LEVI / OZEV)
  • Maintain a clean sales pipeline (target: 3× revenue coverage)
  • Forecast monthly unit sales and installer activity

After-Sales Alignment

  • Coordinate with operations on:
    • Warranty call-out process
    • Installer service coverage by region
    • Feedback loop from field issues into product improvements

What Success Looks Like After 12 Months

  • Installers actively sell EC Charging without being pushed
  • At least 2–3 strong UK case studies used in LA & CPO sales
  • Monthly unit sales driven primarily through installers

Required Experience

  • + 3 years experience in EV charging Sales
  • Proven experience selling through partners or installers
  • Strong commercial judgement — understands margins and incentives
  • Self-starter who can operate without a large support team

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of UK EV grants (OZEV, ORCS, LEVI)
  • Experience working with Installers and electrical wholesalers
  • Background in AC + DC charging hardware

IT & Systems Skills

  • CRM Systems: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar sales pipeline management tools
  • Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel (forecasting, reporting), PowerPoint (sales presentations), Word
