Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager who excels in face‑to‑face customer engagement, generates profit from existing relationships, and is commercially savvy in creating value‑led deals. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with commercial drive to deliver innovative electronic solutions, supporting customers from concept through to production.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, performing analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customer needs to maximize profitable growth and expansion.
- Prioritize customers and opportunities with the greatest potential for success.
- Manage profitability by minimizing profit leaks and maximizing gross profit.
- Develop strong, strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage their business goals and growth strategies.
- Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to track progress toward revenue and growth goals and own execution of the business plan.
- Perform critical customer analysis to identify and leverage the partner’s marketing programs to achieve growth in their solutions capability.
- Work directly with suppliers to engage new customers and target technologies.
- Deliver territory forecasting and sales development plans.
- Provide information to customers on products and services.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in technical sales and/or business development, ideally within the electronic or component distribution market.
- Ability to lead negotiations on medium‑sized, complex accounts, plan and own territory or account approach.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
- Commercially driven with a customer‑first mindset.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
