Join a high-performing team as a Product Owner – Payments

As a product-led organisation, Product at Ebury drives strategy for the business. As Product Owner – Payments, you will be responsible for the performance of your payments areas within the business, covering both new and existing products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Implementing new payment schemes or connectivities to banks or partners, regardless of connectivity or format
  • Translating rules into requirements
  • Designing payment flows covering all transaction types within a scheme
  • Managing your payment backlog for one or multiple Tech teams
  • Participating in all agile ceremonies
  • Defining, tracking, and monitoring KPIs for product initiatives, and making decisions based on results

Requirements include:

  • Experience implementing payment schemes (e.g., SEPA, ETFs, FPS, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of the SWIFT network
  • Experience as a Technical Product Owner in the Payment industry
  • Ability to translate rulebooks or API specs into requirements
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

  • 3+ years in a Product role within a high-growth fintech, neobank, software/service company, or as a Business Analyst in a bank
  • Hands-on experience with Jira
  • Knowledge of all agile ceremonies
  • Proven success delivering product solutions in fast-paced, agile environments
  • High organisational and project management capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills to break down problems
  • Experience working in high-growth or scaling environments
