Reporting directly to the Global Head of Partnerships, the Partnerships Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the Ebury Partnerships department’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable outcomes. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, project management, and executive support. The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented manager with exceptional communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operational Strategy: Deliver and implement operational strategies that align with the Department's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with the Global Head of Partnerships to ensure effective execution of the Department's strategic vision. Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and provide recommendations for adjustments. P&L growth responsibility.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency, while continuing to help drive income. Write and update internal policies when required. Ensure departmental processes are mapped out and published. Identify and mitigate operational risks and develop strategies to address potential challenges or disruptions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, standards, and safety protocols, and keep the company up-to-date with changing regulations.
  • Communication and Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and information flow within the Department. Prepare reports, slide decks, presentations, and briefings for internal and external meetings.
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs: Providing qualitative analysis to drive Department strategy. Client meetings with sales team to understand the market.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. Represent the leadership team in meetings, negotiations, and events.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record of building a channel partnerships business in financial services.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Google and project management tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of any other language will be highly valued.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated.
  • Pragmatic thinking coupled with a proactive attitude.
  • Agility to work across the company with various groups.
