The Challenge
At Ebury, we are scaling rapidly. To support this growth, we are evolving our Asset and Liability Management (ALM) from manual oversight to a sophisticated, automated ecosystem. We need a visionary leader to bridge the gap between high-level financial strategy and technical execution.
The Role
As the Product Lead for ALM, you will own the domain end-to-end. You aren’t just managing a backlog; you are defining how Ebury understands its balance sheet. You will translate complex financial requirements into a scalable technology roadmap, ensuring our transactional systems flow seamlessly into our financial reporting platforms.
What you’ll do
- Domain Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for ALM, FX Exposure management, and Liquidity reporting.
- System Integration: Lead the mapping of transactional data to General Ledgers (GL) and the Chart of Accounts (CoA), ensuring "one version of the truth" across the company.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a high-level sparring partner to the Treasurer and Head of Accounting, challenging current methodologies to build more efficient, automated workflows.
- Liquidity Oversight: Build the systems and frameworks required to monitor and manage global liquidity exposure in real-time.
- Technical Leadership: Partner with dedicated engineering teams to drive requirements, prioritize builds, and ensure the technical output meets the rigorous demands of financial compliance.
- Transformation: Shift the organization from a user-centric, "request-based" model to a platform-centric model where systems are built for scale, not just immediate tasks.
What you’ll need
- The Domain Expert: You have a deep background in ALM, Treasury, or Financial Engineering within Fintech or Banking.
- FX Specialist: You intimately understand FX exposure within balance sheets and how to mitigate risk through system-driven logic.
- The Challenger: You don’t just take requirements; you evaluate them and are comfortable pushing back on senior stakeholders for more scalable or robust solutions.
- Hands-on Architect: You have experience building or implementing Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or ALM platforms from scratch.
- Deep understanding of Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Liquidity Risk.
- Experience with Financial Reporting Systems and ERP integrations.
- Good knowledge of FX hedging and balance sheet management.
- Proven experience in Product Management or Business Systems Analysis in a high-growth environment.
Why Ebury?

- Cutting-Edge Technology: Leverage state-of-the-art tailor made tools and systems that enable you to perform at your best.
- Clear, Accelerated Career Progression: Defined pathways to leadership and specialist roles within Ebury.
