Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the next iteration of our platform, designed to streamline cross-border payments and the international collection of funds.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and engineering leaders to design new services and components.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members, positively changing the trajectory of the team to increase overall effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead product initiatives from analysis to delivery, working closely with the product and operational teams to ensure alignment across stakeholders.

About You:

  • You have extensive experience in developing complex software systems.
  • Experience with Python, Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Kibana.
  • Clear and concise communication in English, written and spoken, to work with colleagues from different countries.
  • Ability to collaborate with product stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Proficiency in constructing and managing services, establishing standard APIs, incorporating monitoring and alerting, and integrating external systems.
  • Commitment to quality with testable code and coverage through unit and integration tests; familiarity with CI pipelines (Jenkins) and Terraform for deployment.
  • Own the products you build, including deployment, maintenance, and ongoing improvements.
