Responsibilities

  • Conduct credit assessments of private market funds (PE, VC, Credit), evaluating investment mandates, performance, and asset quality.
  • Analyze Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs) and private placement memorandums to understand leverage limits and derivative restrictions.
  • Recommend, structure, and approve credit limits for derivatives and establish margin requirements tailored to the fund's liquidity profile.
  • Maintain continuous oversight of a portfolio of funds, tracking asset quality, NAV movements, and liquidity.
  • Evaluate redemption mechanics, gate provisions, and distribution waterfalls to understand potential liquidity drains.
  • Prepare submissions and present to the Credit Committee, making recommendations and contributing to automated risk modelling and process improvements for local markets.
  • What you'll need
  • Experience: 3–5 years in fund finance or leveraged finance.
  • Experience in assessing GP track record and the quality of the LP base.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related quantitative field.
  • CFA, CAIA, or FRM designations are valued.
