We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own API Connectivity with ERP and accounting platforms. This role will lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of integrations with systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, and ERP aggregators (e.g. Codat, Merge, Apideck). You will be responsible for building scalable, high-quality integrations that power financial workflows for our partners and customers, working closely with engineering, external vendors, and internal stakeholders. This role is critical to expanding the reach and adoption of Ebury’s API platform.
What you’ll do
- Own the Connectivity (ERPs) product domain, including direct integrations (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks) and third-party aggregation platforms (e.g. Codat, Merge, Apideck).
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for ERP connectivity.
- Make strategic build vs. buy decisions for integrations.
- Translate partner and business needs into clear API requirements and specifications.
- Work closely with backend engineers to deliver reliable, scalable integrations.
- Manage dependencies with external ERP providers and aggregation platforms.
- Ensure integrations are production-ready, well-documented, and maintainable.
- Act as the primary product contact for ERP connectivity internally.
- Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Compliance.
- Engage directly with external partners and vendors to manage integration requirements, timelines, and changes.
Quality, scalability & DX
- Ensure a high standard of API design, consistency, and versioning.
- Partner with the API Platform & DevEx team to deliver clear documentation, predictable data models and scalable onboarding for partners.
What success looks like
- 6+ new ERPs integrations successfully launched and adopted in the first 6–12 months.
- ERP aggregator integration live and supporting multiple downstream ERPs.
- Clear, well-documented integration guides with low integration friction.
- Strong feedback from partners on reliability and usability.
- Reduced operational and support overhead for ERP-related integrations.
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of Product Management experience (for L4) / 7+ years (for L5).
- Strong experience with APIs, integrations, or platform products.
- Direct experience in ERP or accounting software integrations, ideally: Working at companies like Codat, Merge, Apideck, or building integrations with Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, etc.
- Comfortable working with technical teams on complex data models and workflows.
- Proven ability to manage external dependencies and third-party vendors.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial data platforms.
- Familiarity with OAuth, webhooks, data sync models, and reconciliation.
- Experience defining API standards and versioning strategies.
Level-specific expectations
- Own the ERP Connectivity roadmap and execution end-to-end.
- Operate independently within the domain.
- Drive delivery with engineering and partners.
- Make strong tactical decisions with limited guidance.
- Set strategic direction for ERP connectivity across the API platform.
- Influence API standards and integration strategy beyond the domain.
- Act as a mentor to PMs.
- Partner closely with leadership on long-term platform strategy.
