As Ebury scales globally, we are evolving from a delivery-led organisation into a platform-led product company - building shared foundations that allow teams to move faster, operate safely in regulated environments and deliver high-quality client experiences across channels.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager for FX Products, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for Ebury's core client-facing foreign exchange capabilities. Your mission is to build industry-leading, high-availability, and cost-effective FX solutions that power our entire external client-facing platform and distribution channels. This is a high-impact role. You will leverage your foreign exchange expertise and passion for building complex, scalable financial infrastructure to drive Ebury's next phase of growth. Your core mission is to define the future for how our global enterprises and platforms move, convert, and manage currency seamlessly, directly supporting our product launches, scaling efforts, and entry into new countries.

What you’ll do

  • FX Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the long-term product strategy and translate 0-6 month strategic goals into clear, functional roadmaps. You will communicate this roadmap and drive a unified vision for the FX subdomain that unites and motivates all cross-functional team members.
  • Execution Excellence & Delivery: Provide clear direction to the engineering team, anticipating technical obstacles, addressing challenges, and ensuring smooth execution. You are responsible jointly with the Engineering manager for the team's delivery cadence, adopting best practices, ensuring products are launched consistently and on time, while actively increasing the speed and quality of delivery.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Own the operational and regulatory risks for the FX product, working proactively to mitigate them. Identify cross-domain dependencies and collaborate extensively with peers across Payments, Lending, and other areas to reach alignment on shared goals.
  • Client Focus & Domain Mastery: Understands the global FX market, competitive landscape, and regulatory constraints. You are expected to be hypothesis-driven, validating problems through research and user feedback before investing in solutions. You will be recognised as the "go-to" subject matter expert in your specific area.
  • Data-Driven Prioritization & Strategy: Execute data-driven prioritization by leveraging strong analytical skills and internal data, effectively balancing short-term client needs and commercial growth objectives against the requirements for long-term product vision (e.g., launching new derivative products, platform resilience). You will use insights to manage difficult tradeoffs.
  • Commercial Impact & Optimization: Monitor product performance, focusing on key indicators such as FX margins, client transaction conversion rates, market share, and operational efficiency. You will propose new opportunities for growth and efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Influencer & Champion: You will influence decision-making among product squads by providing essential business context to peers in engineering, data, and design.
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Act as a subject matter expert and mentor Junior Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership and domain excellence. You will regularly share learnings and best practices with the broader team and be able to objectively assess a PM's skillset in interviews, providing high-quality feedback.
