Moultrie is looking for a CX Data Engineer to optimize, maintain, and analyze customer experience data to drive engagement, retention, and business insights. This role will ensure data quality, scalable analytics infrastructure, and predictive modeling capabilities to support CX decision-making. In addition to building and maintaining data pipelines, this role will develop foundational predictive models to analyze customer behavior and enhance personalization. The ideal candidate has strong data engineering skills and a working knowledge of predictive analytics to support Moultrie's long-term CX strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- CX Data Infrastructure & ETL Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize CX data pipelines and databases for scalable, real-time analytics. Maintain ETL workflows (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory) to automate data ingestion from Zendesk, NPS, e-commerce reviews, app reviews, and cancellation data. Write stored procedures and ETL packages to support CX-related database activities. Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and completeness across all CX sources. Improve data refresh schedules for real-time reporting in Tableau and other BI tools.
- Data Quality & Governance: Develop and enforce data validation and governance processes to ensure high-quality, reliable CX insights. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplication issues, and integration gaps. Monitor and troubleshoot operational database issues related to CX analytics. Implement log analytics processing, monitoring, and alerting to detect data inconsistencies.
- Advanced CX Analytics & Insights: Develop customer segmentation models to improve retention and engagement strategies. Use SQL, Python, and cloud-based analytics tools to extract insights from CX data sources. Build and optimize views, reports, stored procedures, and jobs to support CX teams and leadership. Work with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure CX insights drive decision-making.
- Basic Predictive Modeling & Personalization: Support churn prediction modeling and customer health scoring to drive proactive interventions. Implement behavioral analytics to refine High-Value Action (HVA) recommendations and customer engagement strategies. Develop basic machine learning models to predict user engagement patterns and optimize CX interventions. Assist in evaluating AI-driven personalization strategies, working closely with CX leadership to identify scalable applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years in data engineering, analytics, or CX data management
- Strong experience with SQL development, stored procedures, and ETL automation (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
- Experience with Azure cloud environments, including Azure SQL and Cosmos DB
- Proficiency in real-time customer behavior tracking and analytics
- Strong knowledge of CX KPIs, retention analytics, and customer segmentation models
- Basic experience with predictive modeling techniques (regression models, clustering, or time-series analysis)
- Familiarity with Python, Snowflake ML, BigQuery ML, or Azure AI for foundational ML applications
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) for CX reporting and visualization
- Ability to optimize large SQL queries and troubleshoot common database issues
- Understanding of data governance, profiling, and resource monitoring tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CX data sources such as Zendesk, NPS, app store reviews, e-commerce reviews, and product analytics tools
- Background in customer experience operations, marketing analytics, or behavioral modeling
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time tracking systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Azure Event Hubs)
- Hands-on experience in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, or AutoML) is a plus
