We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Bar Supervisor to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will work alongside accomplished hospitality professionals to deliver personalized, memorable guest experiences that inspire loyalty and repeat visits. The Lead Front of House is responsible for crafting and serving innovative, conceptual beverages while consistently providing exceptional, professional, and courteous service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example on the bar floor through active bartending, guest engagement, and maintaining a consistent standard of service excellence.
- Oversee daily bar operations, including staff supervision, briefing the team, service preparation, and close-down procedures.
- Support the ongoing training, mentorship, and development of bartenders and barbacks to ensure a high‑performing, knowledgeable team.
- Maintain accountability for drink quality, recipe execution, and bar consistency.
- Greet and welcome our guests and promptly serve them food and beverages.
- Pour drinks, using standard pour according to specifications, receive and process orders in the POS system with accuracy.
- Fill and clean ice bins, clean and empty trash cans, change kegs, stock beer and wine coolers.
- Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders, and soda guns.
- Follow uniform and grooming specifications.
- Maintain cooperative communication with support crew and management.
- Unpack deliveries and stock the bar.
- Collaborate with the Venue Manager and Beverage Director to develop and implement seasonal, concept‑driven cocktail menus and beverage innovations.
- Manage bar inventory, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Uphold and exceed operational standards while fostering a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork.
- Stay current with global bar trends and emerging techniques, maintaining impeccable product knowledge.
- Act as a liaison between the bar team and management to ensure smooth communication and seamless daily operations.
- Represent the venue with professionalism and enthusiasm at industry events, guest shifts, and media appearances as needed.
Specific Experience We’re Seeking
- Minimum 2‑4 years of experience in a similar role, or 4‑5 years’ experience in F&B Bartending.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary mixology, spirits, and bar operations.
- Experience with modern culinary and mixology techniques, such as fermentation, distillation and molecular techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent wine and spirits knowledge, great communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledgeable of credit card and cash handling procedures, as well as recording accurate tip‑out sheets, and calculating accurate bill amounts.
- Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications (if applicable).
- Flexible schedule and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Experience in leadership or a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
