  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for trade shows, customer events, executive programs, partner events, and user conferences that enable collaboration and knowledge-sharing on water challenges.
  • Manage event logistics including venue sourcing, sponsorship activation, meeting space, audiovisual and technology requirements, food and beverage, signage, accommodations, transportation, registration, and on-site execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders to lead planning meetings, align deliverables, and maintain visibility to timelines, responsibilities, and program status.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, production schedules, and event workback timelines while proactively identifying risks and resolving issues.
  • Manage event budgets including forecasting, tracking, invoice processing, reconciliation, and expense reporting.
  • Oversee agency, contractor, vendor, and venue relationships including contract negotiations, scope management, timeline oversight, and service delivery.
  • Communicate event details clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders, vendors, and external audiences.
  • Measure event performance through post-event reporting, ROI analysis, and recommendations to improve future programs and customer outcomes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging event technologies, and best practices; make recommendations to enhance event programs and attendee experience.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8–10 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or event management.
  • Proven experience managing complex events across EMEA and international markets.
  • Demonstrated success executing trade shows, customer events, and large-scale conferences or user events.
  • Strong project management, budget management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrixed global organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. German speaker desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a global B2B organization.
  • Experience working with regional teams to translate global event strategy into local market execution.
  • Familiarity with international contracts, venue sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Cvent experience a plus.
Core Competencies
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
