Easington Church of England Primary Academy are looking for a part time Caretaker to care for and maintain the school building and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the school's buildings and grounds are in proper working order, maintaining a safe working environment for all users of the facility.
  • Carry out minor repairs and report any faults which require specialist help.
  • Maintain the grounds and ensure the premises are clean and rubbish is collected.
  • Be responsible for the security of the buildings, carrying out security checks and ensuring all fire safety and health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Good DIY skills and knowledge of basic maintenance.
  • Manual handling techniques.
  • Ability to use power tools safely; all safety equipment will be provided.
  • Good communication skills and a reliable member of the team.
  • Ability to work both inside and outside of the school grounds.
