Role Description
This is a volunteer on-site role located in the Copeland Gallery, Peckham (London) for an Exhibition Assistant. The Exhibition Assistant will be responsible for supporting the preparation and execution of exhibitions, including setting up displays, assisting visitors, and providing detailed information about the exhibits. Additional tasks include collaborating with team members, maintaining exhibit cleanliness and organization, and assisting with administrative duties when required.
Qualifications
- Experience with event planning and exhibition setup
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to assist visitors and collaborate with team members
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for creativity and technology, and an interest in cultural representation is a plus
- Flexibility to work during exhibition hours, including evenings and weekends if required
