Eblex Group is supporting a growing global CRO in the search for a Head of Clinical Operations to lead and scale their clinical delivery function across multiple therapeutic areas. This is a senior leadership role overseeing the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trials for biotech and pharmaceutical clients worldwide. You will shape operational strategy, manage a high-performing team, and ensure studies are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do as Head of Clinical Operations:
- Lead the delivery of global clinical trials, ensuring timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance are met.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing clinical operations team.
- Oversee vendor, CRO, and external partner management.
- Implement operational processes and frameworks to support study delivery across multiple programs.
- Partner with clinical, regulatory, medical, and quality teams to align strategy and execution.
- Ensure risk management and inspection readiness across all trials.
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of experience in clinical operations within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments.
- Proven ability to lead global clinical trials and operational teams.
- Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP, MHRA, FDA, and EU regulations.
- Experienced in managing vendors, CROs, and external partnerships.
- Strategic, collaborative, and comfortable working in small, fast‑growing global organisations.
