Description

The People Consultant (People Lead) – UK & Ireland will be part of a global, diverse and collaborative People Leadership Team. This role draws on resources in three global centres of excellence (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and People Operations) and spearheads the regional People Leads on strategic and tactical people topics. Ideally, we are looking for a People Consultant (People Lead) with a strong background in HR consulting.

The purpose of the role is to support leaders and employees on all people-related matters and processes in the 225-person region of UK and Ireland and for our Group functions and to drive a wide range of projects globally from a people perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and deliver a regional People strategy that meets the needs of the business to drive revenue and optimise operating margin:

  • Serve as a “performance consultant” to the business to identify any people issues and opportunities underlying the region’s business strategy.
  • Equip team leaders to foster employee engagement and retain business critical talent.
  • Advise and coach managers on people matters including employee relations and employment law issues as needed.
  • Provide guidance on change management and organizational design.
  • Analyse people data and report on HR metrics to help inform decision-making.

Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of core HR services throughout the complete employee life cycle across the 225-strong Ebiquity population in the UK and Ireland region including, but not limited to:

  • Compensation and benefits
  • Employee relations support
  • Onboarding/offboarding
  • Internal communications

Focus on employee engagement to minimise regrettable attrition:

  • Connect with leaders across the region to ensure their alignment with the business strategy.
  • Support enterprise-wide employee pulse surveys and launch local initiatives as needed to identify trends and address concerns.
  • Pro-actively engage in global people projects & initiatives and ensure successful regional implementation.

Collaborate with:

  • Global Talent Development and Talent Acquisition to ensure regional needs are addressed in the delivery of learning and recruitment services
  • The Global People Operations team to help operationalise the Global People Operations service delivery model and to ensure the HR service delivery needs of employees, managers and leaders in the UK and Ireland are addressed via practices and processes that are consistent with the People Team and Company globally.
  • Fellow People Business Partners in Continental Europe, Americas, and Asia Pacific to ensure alignment on key strategic initiatives and lead global projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Successful career growth to include generalist HR (business partnering) experience and/or human capital consulting experience
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Very good stakeholder management and relationship building, ideally previous Consulting experience
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for process improvements and new ways of working
  • Ability to operate under and implement current employment laws and market practices in the UK and Ireland
  • Experience working in a global organization, across a wide range of time zones and cultures with a global mindset and local expertise
  • Successful track record of working remotely, of demonstrating self-sufficiency and of pro-actively seeking new opportunities to improve HR service delivery
  • Ability to be onsite in our London office (ideally min. 1 x per week)
  • Knowledge and curiosity about the future of work, the development of high-performing teams, leading through change and transformation, talent innovations and HR technology
