Employment Type: Permanent – Part Time/Flexible 22.5 hours per week

Reports To: Group Director of Financial Control
The Role
The role involves managing the Group's Tax compliance and planning, overseeing UK and Ireland matters, and directing external advisers across jurisdictions. Responsibilities include identifying and managing tax risks related to income, capital, employment, and indirect taxes, as well as contributing to Group tax accounting, including deferred tax assets.
Key Responsibilities
- UK and Ireland Tax Compliance: Establish processes for timely filing, oversee liabilities, manage relationships with HMRC, ensure accurate tax provisions, partner on employment taxes, monitor legislative changes, and develop Making Tax Digital processes.
- Global Tax Oversight: Manage tax advisers worldwide, oversee tax aspects of external audits, develop tax strategy, streamline intercompany balances, oversee transfer pricing, provide input on M&A activities, manage withholding taxes, maintain the Tax Risk Register, and undertake special projects as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
- UK Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser or equivalent
- At least 5 years post-qualification experience in group tax roles with increasing responsibilities
- Understanding of employment tax matters
- Proficiency with finance systems and tools
- Preferably multi-jurisdictional experience
