The role of Audit Manager is suitable for candidates with experience in a marketing agency finance team. The individual will have responsibility for supporting and conducting audits across a wide range of UK & European countries and clients. Working closely with Senior Audit Managers, Audit Directors, and Client Directors, the Audit Manager will act as a trusted operator within the UK audit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and conducting audit programs in UK and other European countries for local and international clients
- Review of framework agreements between client and agency for audit preparation
- Selecting audit samples based on internal audit guidelines
- Audit responsibilities for testing of client and agency invoices, agency fees, media plans, and client approvals, payment analysis, and further testing
- Documentation of audit analysis and audit findings
- Reporting line to Senior Audit Managers and Audit Directors
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience working in a Finance role in a marketing agency finance department (media, creative, or BTL)
- Graduate qualifications of Finance degree
- Good English language skills, other languages beneficial
- Very accurate, structured and confidential way of working
- Great interest in audit methodologies
- Good Microsoft Excel/Word skills
- Be a self-starter, an inquisitive, team player
- Readiness to travel (appr. 20%)
