To deliver IT infrastructure support worldwide and ensure the organisation’s IT infrastructure works well and reliably. In charge of creating and deploying sophisticated IT systems that enable the organization’s daily activities. Collaborating with software engineers, service desk and the security team.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing complex IT systems that support the organisation’s day-to-day operations.
- Configure, monitor and maintain our IT infrastructure to ensure its operational efficiency and security.
- Ensuring infrastructure, Hardware, Software, OS, and Firmware is configured, patched, and using best practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, either independently or by collaborating with fellow IT experts.
- Regularly assess and improve our operating environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Implementing and maintaining security best practices.
- Ensuring systems have the correct threat protection installed & configured; helping with investigations and remediation.
- Ensuring systems are setup resiliently; configuring backups; restoring systems and data.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT systems.
- Highly competent in setting up and configuring Azure cloud & M365 technologies.
- Highly competent in configuring IP based networks, WAN technologies, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP/DNS, routing, Azure networking and switch configuration.
- Highly competent in Windows server, virtual server/desktop technologies, Active Directory, and group policy.
- Highly competent in configuring Firewall rules.
- Good working knowledge of Intune/Autopilot.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Microsoft Certified: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.
- CompTIA Network +.
- Meraki Firewall configuration.
- Juniper Mist for Switches and Apps.
- Checkpoint Firewalls.
Working hours
To work on a shift basis to ensure that Infrastructure support is covered from Monday to Friday 0800-1800, working a minimum of 7.5 hours per day. To work out of hours for emergency and scheduled work. The role is based in Ebiquity’s London office. Occasional travel abroad.
