As a consultant within Ebeni’s Cyber & Digital Security and Information Assurance team, you will be conducting cyber security assessments and assuring information security for Ebeni’s clients across each domain, providing advice and guidance on all aspects of Cyber Security, including IA, Risk Management and Accreditation. As a growing area in the company, the Cyber & Digital Unit offers significant personal and career development opportunities through involvement on a variety of projects.

As part of Ebeni's growing Cyber & Digital team, you will help clients understand, manage and mitigate cyber security risks across a variety of sectors. Depending on your experience and level, you may be involved in:

  • Supporting and conducting cyber security assessments and information assurance activities.
  • Assisting with or leading security risk assessments and security assurance tasks.
  • Developing and reviewing security architectures, controls and security strategies.
  • Supporting cyber vulnerability investigations and security assessments.
  • Producing and reviewing information assurance and security documentation, including RMADS and other assurance artefacts.
  • Applying relevant security frameworks and standards to support client requirements.

More experienced consultants:

  • Leading client engagements and work packages.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior consultants.
  • Supporting business development, proposal writing and capability growth.

Please note that all applicants must be able to obtain and/or maintain a valid security clearance.

We welcome applications from candidates at a range of career stages, from developing consultants through to experienced principal consultants. Candidates should demonstrate experience in some of the following areas:

  • Cyber Security, Information Assurance and Risk Management.
  • Security governance, compliance and assurance activities.
  • Security risk assessments and risk management processes.
  • Security architecture and security controls.
  • Cyber security standards, frameworks and best practice guidance.
  • Security documentation and assurance evidence production.

Experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous:

  • Defence, Government or Critical National Infrastructure sectors;
  • NCSC guidance and Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF);
  • NIS Regulations and related security frameworks;
  • Cryptography, secure communications or TEMPEST-related environments.

Relevant qualifications include:

  • Relevant cyber security, information assurance, governance, risk or compliance qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, NIST Foundation/Practitioner) are desirable; equivalent industry experience and demonstrable expertise will be considered.
