Based in Tottenham, North London, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets, corridors and communal areas across the college.
Key responsibilities
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms and kitchen areas.
- Dusting and wiping desks, furniture and surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replenishing toilet paper, soap and other hygiene supplies.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the college.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to management.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and can work independently.
Hours: 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday/Saturday (15-18 hours per week).
Essential requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage cleaning duties efficiently.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude towards work.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and use cleaning materials safely.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to carry out the physical duties associated with cleaning.
- Training and guidance will be provided where necessary.
