About the team and the role: The Horizontal Trading team at eBay develops and scales trading and loyalty initiatives that drive buyer and seller growth and retention. Working closely with Marketing and Category Management, the team plans and delivers a quarterly calendar of promotions and incentives designed to increase relevance, deliver customer value, and improve business performance.
In this role, you will optimize inventory selection across promotional and incentive programs while supporting the operational execution of key trading initiatives. Success will be measured through incremental GMV and buyer growth, improved spend efficiency and return on investment, growth across eBay's strategic focus areas, increased seller participation, and operational innovation.
What you will accomplish:
- Coordinate and deliver trading and incentive initiatives across multiple business functions to support quarterly promotional plans.
- Optimise inventory selection through promotional and incentive programs to improve buyer engagement and business performance.
- Partner with Marketing, Category Management, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful planning, integration, and execution of initiatives.
- Contribute to incremental GMV and buyer growth through effective delivery of trading and loyalty activities.
- Improve spend efficiency and return on investment by using data to inform decisions and optimise performance.
- Help scale seller participation across promotional programs while supporting operational innovation and continuous improvement.
