We are looking for an experienced Category Manager who can join this exciting growing programme and play a pivotal role in driving scale and success.
You will work closely with our sellers to help them succeed on this new platform, and be responsible for delivering GMV targets.
You will be responsible for advocating for your sellers, for understanding our platform and how it needs to change, and helping us build a program that scales.
Bring market expertise to deliver a daring e Bay Live GMV target Define criteria for selecting sellers to onboard to e Bay live, using pattern recognition, analytics, and forecasting to define who is most likely to succeed Develop positive relationships with strategic sellers to build out programming and recruit new sellers to the platform Shepherd sellers through the onboarding process, helping us identify issues and build processes, tools, and workarounds to address them Understand drivers of success on the e Bay live platform and mentor your portfolio of sellers accordingly - across assortment, live host, production, selling formats, marketing, etc.
Advocate for sellers with cross functional teams, come up with solutions to problems, seed new programs to help sellers be successful, lobby for them, and activate against them Contribute to shaping the future structure of the UK Live category team Work closely with the core Collectibles & Fashion categories and Marketing teams to drive success What you will bring: Experience and interest in live selling formats / innovative shopping formats Category management experience ideally in Fashion Deep understanding of our platform Strong project management, organisation, and partner engagement skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in matrix-led organisations Ability to mentor junior members of the team by modelling strong management behaviours Customer emotional intelligence Ability and willingness to travel to support events including at weekends Additional Detailse Bay is an equal opportunity employer.
