EB Dental Clinics is offering a unique opportunity for a dentist with a strong interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology who wants to develop confidence and proficiency through close mentoring and consistent clinical exposure to specialist surgical workflows. This is designed as a mentored pathway: you will assist closely in oral surgery/implant sessions, while also working 2 days per week in a mixed general dentistry role within EB Dental Clinics allowing you to fund your training while gaining experience in the way we practice.

Dr Eric Battista is a GDC-registered Specialist in Oral Surgery. He trained and worked in oral surgery and OMFS across the UK in senior hospital roles (including Royal Surrey County Hospital, Whipps Cross University Hospital, Eastbourne DGH, Northampton General Hospital, and Glan Clwyd Hospital), and holds Master’s degrees in Oral Implantology and Orthodontics. He founded EB Dental Clinics as multi-specialty centres with a strong emphasis on innovation and technology, providing a full range of oral surgery from routine dento-alveolar procedures to advanced bone grafting and Dynamic-guided implant surgery, Full mouth Rehabilitation, Implant Restoration, Complex dento-alveolar procedures, Frenectomy, Perio-Implant surgical treatments. To date, Dr Battista has performed 15,000+ surgical extractions and 3,000+ implant placements, including 1,000+ fully guided cases, and provides IV sedation as sedationist and operator.

The Role:

  • Chairside assisting for oral surgery and implant procedures
  • Pre-op preparation, surgical setup, workflow and instruments
  • Support with records, planning workflow, and post-op care
  • Patient communication and documentation
  • Learning protocols, standards, and complication awareness in a mentored environment

Minimum commitment: 16 hours per week. Mentoring is free, but we require the dentist to work 2 days per week performing mixed general dentistry within EB Dental Clinics. This creates a part-time position that supports your income while you train and gain proficiency in oral surgery and implantology.
