This is a full-time hybrid role for a Field Based Water Treatment Engineer/Account Manager to join our Technical Services team! This role is well suited for a proactive and knowledgeable candidate that wants to help EB Critical continue to grow and develop its culture-changing business model! There are amazing career progression opportunities for the right candidate, with Senior Account Management and Sector Directorship opportunities becoming available once sector growth targets are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creating strong working relationships with customers by understanding their sites, systems and service requirements.
  • Providing on-site service visits and producing service reports.
  • Actively prospect new business opportunities and proactively manage the sales pipeline to achieve business targets.
  • Manage customer accounts ensuring they are compliant and profitable.
  • Preparing quotes and proposals.
  • Conducting regular client/contract review meetings and contract audits.
  • Identify referral, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within the client portfolio.
  • Actively promote all product groups and service streams to new and existing customers.
  • Complete tenders and PQQ applications.
  • Support business development and attend networking events on behalf of EB Critical.
  • Liaise with the engineering and operations team regularly, to ensure a total support solution can be provided for all clients.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proven Technical Sales and Account Management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Steam Boiler/Hot Water Boiler chemical treatment.
  • Good Technical understanding of Steam and Hot Water Systems, plus associated equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, controls). Further training in this sector will be provided.
  • Good Technical understanding of other industrial/commercial water treatment sectors, such as ACOP L8 and BSRIA.
  • Located in the West, North Wales or the Midlands.
