Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Engineer to join their on-site team, supporting all maintenance and engineering tasks across their operation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Supporting new installations, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure works
- Fault finding and repairs (electrical & mechanical)
- Driving continuous improvement in reliability and performance
- Working closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure smooth shift handovers
- Monitoring safety risks and ensuring compliance with H&S standards
- Assisting with contractor oversight and site safety
What we’re looking for:
- Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (e.g. C&G)
- Multi-skilled – ideally with experience in both trades
- Fault-finding skills down to component level
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems (desirable)
- Flexible and self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Able to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns
