An established and growing business based in West Lothian is looking to recruit a driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across Scotland and the wider UK market. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities and developing long-term customer accounts.

The Role

You will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing customer relationships and helping the business grow its client base across a range of sectors. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and approaching new business opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Managing the full sales process from initial contact through to close
  • Understanding customer requirements and presenting suitable solutions
  • Preparing quotes, proposals and pricing where required
  • Following up on enquiries, leads and lapsed customers
  • Working closely with the internal team to ensure a high level of service
