The Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and MOT preparation of HGVs, helping to keep vehicles compliant, roadworthy, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Perform diagnostics and fault-finding
- Complete MOT preparation and pre-inspection checks
- Identify and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Carry out routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and turnaround times
