A Managed Service Provider specialising in providing full end to end, low latency, high availability connectivity services to the financial domain with clients including Tier 1 Banks, Financial Institutions, Fund Managers and FX Brokers with an international presence operating in Asia, USA & UK are currently seeking an NOC manager to manage their technology function & offshore Network teams as they approach their next stage of growth and expansion.
The opportunity would be ideal for someone looking for the opportunity to work in the fintech/finance industry with prior experience of interacting with clients and strong technical background in Networking with project experience. Prior experience of working in finance sector is not essential but would be an advantage.
Responsibilities- Managing Offshore NOC Team – Coordinating Tasks, Managing Work Load
- Manage Service Delivery, Cross Connects, Circuits & Hardware
- Provisioning of new clients
- Meeting/Liaising with clients to ensure their requirements and expectations are met in line with agreed service level agreements
- Act as the point of contact for all escalation issues
- Managing relationships with Vendors, Suppliers and data centres
- Implementation of Servers
- Continuous review and management of companies Network estate
- Provision of feedback and recommendations to enhance the company's processes and customer experience
- Monitoring email out of hours actioning escalations as required
- Occasional weekend or out of business hours work
- Occasional International Travel
- Reporting directly to the CEO with Operations deliverables and status meetings
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent networking experience
- Network Protocols – BGP, HSRP
- Cisco Catalyst Switches
- Cisco ASA and ASD
- Solarwinds (similar monitoring tools may be considered)
- Netbrain
