Overview

As a Tool Maker you will be part of a small team responsible for the repair, maintenance and examination of all types of injection mould and metal press tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out fault finding, tool repair, corrections and modification, ensuring tasks and output are to acceptable standards in accordance with Company Quality Policy and Procedures.
  • Translate CAD drawings in order to complete required tooling tasks.
  • Operate equipment and machinery for which you are authorised.
  • General housekeeping of the department.
  • Observe and sustain lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.).
  • Liaise with other departments/functions to ensure good team collaboration.
  • Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy, while adhering to the Eaton Life Saving Rules.
  • Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with the Tool Room Team Leader.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
