Overview

Responsible for operating injection moulding machines & associated robot cells to produce high quality components to a set standard on time whilst maintaining a safe clean working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Injection Moulding Machines, ensuring Quality checks are completed effectively to achieve zero defective component release.
  • Maintain a safe clean working environment, whilst adhering to the Eaton Life Saving Rules.
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Policies and Procedures, contributing to achievement of departmental goals and targets (OEE, DPPM, DOH, Inventory, 5S+ Score).
  • Ensure required documentation and system transactions are executed effectively for stock accuracy & financial reporting requirements.
  • Communicate problems affecting the role or responsibilities to the immediate Supervisor.
  • Undertake manual assembly, secondary operations, etc. for which training has been given.
  • Monitor output and record all information inline with OEE requirements.
  • Adhere to order quantities, dates, etc. to meet delivery times and customer requirements.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
