The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 £ per year.

Provide support to the plant Quality function, monitoring and reporting on key Quality Management System processes.

Provide Plant Leadership Team with timely and accurate data and performance reports.

  • Collect and consolidate Quality data (Warranty, Scrap, Rework etc) and produce formal monthly reports.
  • Monitor, Control and report on key plant quality systems including:
    • Concessions
    • Calibration
    • Corrective Action Reports (Customer, Supplier, Plant)
    • Engineering Change Notes
    • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
    • FAI (First Article Inspection)
  • Maintain Engineering drawing and specification retention systems liaising with internal and external-to-plant contacts.
  • Co-ordinate and be key point of contact for Document Control system (Utilising Workbench Software).
  • Be a key user of Eaton supplier quality management software (WISPER). Tracking performance and compliance status and uploading DMRs and PPAPs.
  • Monitor and report on audit action status (Utilising Portfolio action management and tracking software).
  • Support the site QMS, EQMS Audit & Self-assessment Programmes as a quality auditor. Prepare, deliver and report outcomes to business stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • GCSE or Equivalent (Maths & English)
  • Administration (Manufacturing/engineering preferred)

Skills

  • IT Skills particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Interpreting Engineering Drawings & Specifications
  • Familiarity with requirements of ISO 9001:2015
  • Familiarity with Internal Auditing
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organisation skills
  • Time management
