Experteer Overview You will lead supplier performance analysis, assess manufacturing capabilities, and audit supplier quality. You'll train and develop suppliers, drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with industry specs. This role sits at the heart of quality for aerospace components, offering impact through problem solving and process optimization. - Lead on-site supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance and capabilities
- Review supplier inspection techniques per specifications
- Support supplier development to improve delivery, cost, and quality
- Analyze supplier quality performance and lead root-cause investigations
- Train and facilitate supplier development and quality tools (Six Sigma, Lean, 8-D, FEMA, PPAP)
- Facilitate cross-functional teams with suppliers to drive improvement and cost-out
- Maintain and review supplier quality records for completeness and effectiveness
- Review engineering drawings with suppliers to confirm requirements and performance
- Coordinate part approval submissions and ensure regulatory, customer, and business requirements are communicated to suppliers
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal and external stakeholders
- Tasks Degree / BTEC / HND in Engineering related discipline (experience may substitute)
- Qualified Auditor
- Leadership of small quality teams
- Strong knowledge of aerospace quality systems (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.)
- Understanding of supply chain concepts and supplier quality requirements
- Experience with process auditing and lean six sigma concepts
- Knowledge of product testing requirements and end-user interfaces
- Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams
