Responsibilities
- Responsible for calibrating and maintaining all site equipment and sustain all gauges in accordance with BSI and Eaton Quality Policies.
- Ensure equipment is safe for operation and calibrated to the industry standards
- Monitor and control the correct storage and administration of gauges
- Support internal & external customers gauging, and calibration demands
- Maintain accurate records of calibrated equipment
Requirements
- 3+ years of similar experience
Skills:
- Must be able to demonstrate practical experience of implementing lean office techniques
- Must demonstrate metrology skills and be conversant with BSEN ISO standards
- Be able to demonstrate experience of calculating tolerances for gaugesStrong IT skills/ knowledge - Microsoft packages
- Demonstrate knowledge of British standards
- Must have good attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Formal training in a related role an advantage
