Responsibilities

  • Responsible for calibrating and maintaining all site equipment and sustain all gauges in accordance with BSI and Eaton Quality Policies.
  • Ensure equipment is safe for operation and calibrated to the industry standards
  • Monitor and control the correct storage and administration of gauges
  • Support internal & external customers gauging, and calibration demands
  • Maintain accurate records of calibrated equipment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of similar experience

Skills:

  • Must be able to demonstrate practical experience of implementing lean office techniques
  • Must demonstrate metrology skills and be conversant with BSEN ISO standards
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of calculating tolerances for gaugesStrong IT skills/ knowledge - Microsoft packages
  • Demonstrate knowledge of British standards
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Formal training in a related role an advantage
